So, every 6ish months or so, I remember I have a website. Well, actually I have several, but mostly this one and another one that I do weird code experiments with. But mostly this one.
When I do remember to make a post, it’s something along the lines of “SOON! I swear, I’ll do the thing, and it will be awesome, and I won’t forget and there will be stuff and it will be SOOOOOOO COOOOOL!” And then I totally forget.
Well.
SOOOON! I swear, this time I mean it, I’m gonna be back on Twitch, with a new layout and polished format to my channel!
And that’s not all!!!
I’m getting back into photography in a big way. Not JUST talking about doing it, but actually have the equipment my greedy little eye globs have been coveting for awhile now, and I’m in the stages of workflow development, and things are… ya know. They’re doing the things.

See that? I shot that the other day. Just messing around. I think it turned out pretty great. Admittedly this image just went from my Canon to my phone, in JPEG, and I used the image software on my phone to add the text, so it didn’t go through my eventual workflow of Camera=>darktable=>Gimp, but I think I nailed the look I was going for. Vivid color, bright and sunny as a Saturday Morning Cartoon.
When you nail it in one, you don’t need to fix it.
Anyway, I renewed my hosting for another year. I’m currently setting up OBS to be a beast of a recording and streaming platform on my desktop AND laptop (so I can travel and still provide all the same content I hope to be making real soon), and I’m rocking premium editions of DaVinci Resolve on both, so I can edit my recordings, even on the go. So, yeah, video production workflow, nailed down.
I do need to get back in the habit of using Git. I’ve veered off from coding on a regular basis again, in case you can’t tell. But that does not mean I’m not doing it anymore. I’m a multifaceted internet content creator. That means I will always have need for code. I’ve just got that on the back burner until I’ve finished this full studio build I’ve been working on.
And that, dear reader, is why you all have not heard much from me lately. I’m laying a lot of groundwork for a variety of projects I want to do, and unfortunately, to do the level of content I want as a solo creator, that means taking ten times as much time to get it set up. Because there isn’t a lot of help here in the Void (TM). I’m just a guy. One solitary little guy.
I’m learning tons though. Like, how I can use the various tracks OBS grants you when recording audio to separate out the audio into it’s key component parts, and how you can fine tune the quality of that audio with a wide array of filters. I’m also passing that knowledge along to friends of mine who are getting into streaming, when asked for help. I don’t over complicate their setups the way I am doing mine however. They aren’t tech nerds like me, so basic functionality and a polished finish is really all they call for. And that’s great for them. You should check out their channels too when you got time, and when they are online.
we_attack_at_dawn does retro and horror games. Dude’s into everything horror. You can occasionally catch me as the voice of the man in the chair when he’s trying to brute force a path through Silent Hill 2 or some other puzzle heavy survival horror. Between the two of us, we are exactly one fully functional adult.
RaineDemure is a lovely alt model and Suicide Girl Hopeful who you can also catch gaming or crafting tiny houses and friendship bracelets when she isn’t super busy with her regular life of work and raves and screaming into the abyss. Plus, she got a cute butt. You can see it here (paywalled, 18+ content ahead)!
Give them lots of love, and expect to see collabs and junk with both of them in the future.
Anyway, I better get back to it or you’re never gonna see my face on Twitch again.
